Poem

As I gaze into your eyes so bright,
I day dream, sinking into the light.
In the dream, you're walking down the aisle with your Dad
Not feeling good, letting his daughter go makes him sad.
Finally, as your Dad gives you to me,
your love and beauty is all I see.
After we start repeating one after another,
from the crowd I hear crying from your mother.
As I place the ring on your finger with a smile,
I think of how I would do anything for you, even run a mile.
And while you place yours on mine,
my heart starts to shine.
As we both say "I do"
I stay calm and cool.
Finally, we're married. As the kiss is over...
I wake up at home with you sleeping on my shoulder.
