Wembley

Last night was a stern reminder to all Man Utd fans; All true blue United fans who can proudly proclaim themselves as Red Devils (Red always triumphs blue).

It was a match that broke beyond the restraints of the pitch and into the hearts and spirits of United fans around the world. It condemned the United fans who had a betting ticket in one hand, and a dagger on the other. Now, we shall “make some more test of your(fans) mettle”. Ask yourself fan, and choose your next words wisely, is it red you wear on the inside, or green? Is your passion in blood or in money?

Interestingly enough, Alvyn is the only other person I know who supports Man Utd and doesn’t bet on soccer. Without any motive at the back of our heads, we still manage to reach apexes of joy, extreme ends of intensity, abysmal sorrow and heart felt passion during every 90 minute Man Utd match. Now that’s what I call true passion, true belief, true fanatics, true fans.

To quote Alvyn, “I salute you my fellow friend as we journey thru this hard time”.

No doubt it’s been a bad spell for the team thus far. Worst start for defending champions in the history of the EPL. 2 points in 3 games. 1 goal in 3 games. Rooney out. Ronaldo suspended. Solskjaer, Saha, Neville and Park all out injured. Heinze’s future undecided.

It is the most spectacular sight I’ve seen in seasons. Prepare for the treble. Prepare for glory.

Red Devils of the world unite.
We have 3 more trophies to win.
