1st 3 Months

For some reason, i'm missing my 1st 3 months school friends very much now..
my class, 04B10 (who even remembers man haha)...Samantha, Samuel, Pearl, Cheryl Lee, Cheryl Leong, Farah, Maria, Naseem, Brandon and James,
the floorball peeps like Loo and Eugene, Gwen, Khairul,
Chiam and Audrey....haven't spoken to them in ages...
They were the ones who made my 1st 3 months so awesome, and even beyond that.

i miss all of them so much.
i think i'm emo again...

He was right....you can't turn back the clock on things like these. And now, and now, how do i go back?

Rule Britannia

I have just completed the best book i've ever read in my life. For fellow nerds who are interested, it's titled 'Trafalgar' by Nicholas Best and it depicts the event that is The Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
Just as extarct from the book...the very last paragarph of the book in the epilogue section.

"Behind them, just across the water, the fisheman and ploughboys of the Walmer Home Guard patrolled the beach where Caesar had landed, wondering if rifles would be delievered to them anytime soon. Royal Navy warships patrolled further out, defending the approaches to shore. And the Channel rolled ever onwards, with its tides and cross-currents, its shifting sands and treacherous undertows, its unpredictable swells and atrocious, never to be reiled on weather.

To the British, it is the most beautiful stretch of water in the world."

The Y generation

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and The Simpsons defined a teenage generation. The X generation.
where are such tv seials like these now?
which shows define our generation? the Y generation. I've been trying to tell people that it's no longer the x factor that counts anymore, it should be the y-factor. sadly, no one really takes me seriously. haha but oh well.
the OC? Laguna beach?
all pulsating with sex and meaningless surface relationships.

so i open this to the floor, which tv serial defines our teenage generation?

Valentine's Day

Went to Zouk yesterday with Mei Jian and her friends Jessica, Carmen and Jiawen. Met Melvin Tiong there, my sec 1 and 2 classmate. Man, he's got the moves. saw many people there (like duh..), saw many friends there ike ravin, frank zheng (mark, can you believe it??!?), Loo, Raj and Debra wong.
Something happened which i have no intention of saying here cause it's too depressing (ok not really...haha) but yeah overall the night was awesome! the music's still as good and it wasn't that crowded.

plus, this is the first time i got a girl's number in a club!!!!
wah for those of you who are starting to plan to throw me a big celebration, the girl is Gwen, my good friend from 1st 3 months and JC where both of us just happen not to have each others' number. haha. yeah but nonetheless the title goes to her and i feel so honoured. Gwen, if you're reading this don't puke please haha.

left the club at 3. got home at 3.30 slept at 4. went to work at 8. came back at 8. haven't slept.
Welcome to euphoria.

It's been one week

This is going to be the first time i'll say this and actually 100% mean it- Thank God it's Friday!!!!!
As the more perceptive of you may know, i started work this week. Let me just say that if this is going to be my first experience in working life, then i'm sincerely glad and thankful for this posting. I feel so blessed and i thank God for placing me here and always having my best interest in His plan.
The office is great, although we're moving, and then moving back again after the place is renovated. I quite looking forward to it cuz i can finally put all my deco up there, pictures and all. The people are awesome. It's only been 4 days but already i feel so at home. Sure there are moments of awardness and noob-ness but they take very good care of me, look out for me, show me the ropes and talk crap with me as well. I feel as though they have reached the family status. Now, i'm waiting and hoping to join.

on another note, i think Mich's husband in the future is a very lucky guy. Class guys (i think we seriously have to come up with a cool name for the collective us), it's time to find her someone.
